What’s on my iPad - Weather and Work
Last in series - Part 11!!!
Weather

Weather (I’m a bit of weather nut - I like these apps, plus lots on the bookmarks on the web that I access from my iPad)
- SkySafari - If you like stargazing, these apps are the best.
- TideData - My family loves to fish, kayak and boat - we live and die (literally) by the tides. I’ve tried a number of tide apps, but like this one best.
- WeatherBug - the best all around weather app. Don’t know why their icon is in black and white - they deserve a full color icon. Terrific app.
- PinPoint Lightning - As I type this, this app is going CRAZY. Constant push notifications of lightning within 30 miles of our house. Our dog is scared to death of thunder and will run away. I keep this app close, and it notifies me day and night when lightning (therefore thunder) is in the area.
- RadarScope - If you like looking at weather systems moving across your area this is a beautiful app. Storms that are scary become things of beauty.
Work

Work
- iWork apps - if you want Word, PowerPoint or Excel on your iPad, this is the best way to do it. These apps work as advertised and easily convert to their Microsoft counterparts.
- PresenTimer - Give speeches, webinars, lectures, or presentations? Simple app that you can see from a distance. This timer will keep your talk on time. Lots of little options for those who like warnings or time markings.
- iAnnotate PDF - LOVE this app. Mark up PDF’s, highlight them, draw on them, etc. Easier to mark-up a PDF and organize your PDF’s than it is in Adobe’s flagship product - Adobe Acrobat Pro (and for a lot cheaper).
That’s it! The highlights of my 106 apps. Love to hear of any apps I’ve missed or you think beat my top picks.
